UTILISING SOLAR ENERGY: POLICY AND INITIATIVES

Abstract

Renewable energy and technologies have potential to provide solutions to the long lasting energy problems being faced by the developing countries like India. Solar energy can be an important part of Indias plan not only to add new capacity but also to increase energy security, address environmental concerns and lead the massive market for renewable energy. The scholars delve into the problems that are faced in the implementation of policies regarding the same, and also the emerging problem of e-waste along with the policies that should be in place regarding the same.
