She has written six novels. All her novels cope with upper middle class, educated women who deny their responsibilities and families owing to personal endeavour, financial status, carnal desire, emotional dependence etc. The constriction between attaining self-independence and desire for personal attainment forms the thematic foundation of all her novels. Their desires are poured out only after their marriage. On examining Kapurs novels, it records the various snags and dilemmas in marital life. Either husband or wife, both should know that life is not a bed of roses and compromise each other in critical situation in order to avoid marital discords. Women in her novels, being ignorant of having educated are misled by themselves and ruin their lives eventually.
