Abstract

Electronic Health Record (EHR) contains sensitive information of the patients that are managed by the healthcare providers. Healthcare applications store the EHR of a patient in the blockchain that stores the EHR securely. The stored EHR of a patient can also be viewed and verified by the patient. Even though the blockchain is secure, it is prone to different categories of attacks such as Blockchain network attacks, User wallet attacks, Smart contract attacks, Transaction verification mechanism attacks, and Mining pool attacks. Each attack category has a distinct subcategory. User wallet attacks are divided into phishing, dictionary-based, Attacks on cold wallets, and Attacks on hot wallets. In user wallet-based attacks, the attacker targets the credentials of the users. Red Tacton is a new Human Area Networking technology that uses the human body surface as a high speed and safe network transmission path. This framework proposes a Multi-Level Authentication (MLA) method to secure blockchain based health records against the user wallet attack.
