A STUDY ON EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND ITS EFFECT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH REFERENCE TO DALMIA CEMENTS BHARAT LIMITED
Abstract
work life of the employees in the organization are influenced by the Emotional Intelligence at DALMIA CEMENTS BHARAT LIMITED. The main objective is to find the level of Emotional Intelligence among employees and how it creates impact on behavior and overall performance of the employees. The research design used in this study is descriptive research design. Data collected from 107 Employees from different departments in the organization by the survey method through structured questionnaire with close ended questions. The primary data was obtained through questionnaire and secondary data from the company records and through internet. The purpose of the study is to provide the accurate assessment of the Emotional ability of the employees and how it influences the work life. The Emotional Intelligence of an Employee affect his behavior which ultimately affects his performance in the organization. Hence this study attempts to assess the level of EI and its effect on their quality of performance.
