A STUDY ON FREIGHT FORWARDING IN AGX LOGISTICS

Abstract

This study is carried out to understand the reasons behind lag of cargo movement. The logistics industry in India is evolving rapidly and it is the interplay of infrastructure, technology and new types of service providers and government policies that will define whether the industry is able to help its customers to reduce their time delay in terms of delivering goods.

The study includes finding the delay of freight movement in AGX logistics India private limited. Where this problem is being a major concern within most of the freight forwarders in the logistics industry. This study basically focuses on the major issues and challenges involved in the cargo movement. This study considering both internal and external factors issues happens in the movement of freight from one place to its destination. The main objective of the study is to analyse the issues and separate it according to their occurrences. Where the Pareto chart is used to identify and analyse the issues briefly.
