LEADERSHIP STYLE OF PRINCIPAL FOR EFFECTIVENESS OF SCHOOL

Abstract

School effectiveness is an important area of research in education.
This study investigated leadership style of principal working for school's
effectiveness in term of its academic achievement. There are some significant
studies looking at the relationship of school leader's leadership with school
effectiveness. Nowadays most of the school principals are experiencing lots of
challenges to ensure that their schools are successful. The leadership style of
principal in maintaining working conditions within the school. This article is
drawn on leadership theory to examine the connection between learning
outcomes of the school. Leadership responsibilities of principal's include staff
development, providing quality time for planning of staff. Principal's role is to
maintain working conditions for quality improvement in school. The success of
enterprise largely depends upon the quality of its leadership.
