Awareness and Usage of Electronic Resources for The Faculty Members of Arts and Science Colleges in Tenjore District

Abstract

This paper examine impact of E-resources by the users of Gov.t arts and science colleges in tanjore district. The survey questionnaire method has been adapted to data collect from faculty members of government arts and science college .320 totally questionnaires distributed and 285questionnaires received back. This study found that Designation wise distribution of respondents, awareness of Electronic resources available/ subscribed in your library, ICT infrastructure available in the library for Electronic resources. This study reveals majority 228(80%) of the respondents are Assistant Professor and 279(97.89%) of respondents are aware of electronic resources.
