Khaki: The Sufi Adventurer

Abstract

This Paper is the depiction of 16th century Sufi saints thoughts about nature and adventure. The divine message behind it is to comply that everything that nature provides is a blessing and it has a divine connection with Mortal i.e. the man, who is made of Clay, water, Air and Fire. Himself being a learned Scholar and later turned to a Sufi, Khaki wrote his experiences as a traveler, a Sufi Master, and as an adventurer. He and his companions wrote about his passion for travelling and adventure to far-off areas, hills and mountains, Springs, Ponds, and water bodies which posses life and provides life. The present research paper is an effort to provide a comprehensive account of the Sufi approach especially of Kashmiri Sufi's towards adventure and perseverance of nature
