Abstract

Motion detection is very important in image processing. When we look at our surrounding, our brain can immediately figure out the motion in it. Weather it be an animal running, a human walking on the street or a sports car flash on the track. These activities are noting to the computer. That is because it simply receives several frames of continuously changing pixel values, which does not make any sense of motion to it. But with the help of Image processing for motion detection, the computer can have the ability to detect motion, identify different objects in motion, and can also perform various predefined functions for it.
