A Study of Work Orientation of Teacher Educator in College of Teacher Education in Region of Amravati

Abstract

In the present study studied that the work orientation of teacher educators in college of education in the region of Amravati. In this study normative survey method was use for the respective data collection of teacher educators working in various college of education in Amravati region. Sample of this study has been use cluster method and selected the 350 teacher educators in D.Ed and B.Ed colleges in respective area for this study. Tool for data collection has been self constructed and standardized by investigator. Its study conclude that the status of work orientation and its component of teacher educators is significantly difference. Its mean that most of the teacher educators for their work orientation and its component respect to incentive orientation, significant orientation, Achievement orientation, Motivational orientation and self actualized orientation belonging in high level of orientation and very less than teacher educator belonging in lo work orientation. Its that the most of teacher educators are aware and active for their professional development related to the teacher education programme.
