In slight of the psychrophilic microorganisms and its potential role in Industries: A short review

Abstract

Temperature a major determining factor is played a role in the selection as well distribution
the microorganisms on our planet. The psychrotrophs (and psychrophiles microorgamisms
are habitats at low temperature, consider the source for the unique property of biocatalysts.
The psychrozymes are show high catalytic activity at low and moderate temperatures.The
psychrozymes such as?-galactosidase, Pectinase are accelerate research interest due to its
economical values especially in dairy and juice industries. Moreover the cold active ?amylase, lipase,protease, and cellulase, are used fortextile products,bio polishing and
detergent industries. Therefore, this study can be employed for the discussion on
psychrophiles and its biocatalyst used in the industries. In the near futurethe psychrophiles
would be a potent source for cold active enzymes and might be use for the cost effective
production of the industrial important biocatalyst.
