Abstract

The objective of the study is to analyze the within which fiscal management and delivering services to provide an assessment of their operations. The women groups are examined because of their current importance to a special group of consumers, primarily the poor and disenfranchised in the developing world and as on economic development solution. Since the objective of this study is somewhat unique, the manner of their assessment must also differ from the used to assess the performance of traditional financial intermediaries. In particular, the assessment of Women Development Corporation scheme Self Help Group must recognize their triple status like Banking, development institutions and personal development of the women. The findings should be of value to those interested in the fiscal sector in particular small savings as well as those involve in public policy making.
