Abstract

Identity is a by-product of ones own experiences and the values. It is gained from the personal experiences. The challenges faced by an individual are related to ones identity not only that but it also include the concerns about the visibility of the field. Further, it concerns about how well is differentiated from others like disciplines, how one fit within the broad field of psychology, how well ones name conveys who he is and also about their future generations. The problem of identity is one of the most crucial in the development of each society. It refers mainly to taking into account of the greatest differences which separate people, as well as stating these differences in order to be acknowledged and respected by others. Identity is about belonging and one have in common with some people. It also refers what differentiates one from others. People are well known of these discrepancies through the use of huge amount of different markers which are all intimately linked to such categories as: social, physical appearance, personality, nationality, religion, family relationship, gender, occupation, and culture. But by whom, where, why under what circumstances and for how long are these markers associated to one individuality and still remains a matter of relativity and contingence.
