UNSTEADY FLOWS OF THERMO-VISCOUS FLUID OF INFINITE & FINITE DEPTH

Abstract

In this paper, the problem of an unsteady flow of a thermo-viscous incompressible fluid through a porous medium in the semi-boundless region over a fluctuating impermeable base is studied. The temperature of the base is also fluctuating with the same recurrence. Analytical expressions for the velocity and temperature distributions have been obtained with appropriate boundary conditions. The Shear stress, Heat transfer coefficient and the forces perpendicular to the flow direction are calculated. The effects of various flow parameters on the flow field have been discussed with the assistance of illustrations.
