A Study on Area, Production and Productivity of Selected Cash Crops in Neemuch District

Abstract

The main concentration is to measure the growth rate of area, production and yield of Soyabean, Groundnut, Isabgol, and Garlic in the study area comprising of three blocks of Neemuch district. The analysis is primarily based on secondary data ranging from 2007 to 2017. The time series data on area, production and productivity are compiled from various issues of agriculture Statistics, published by Agriculture department of Neemuch district. In order to measure trend of growth of area, production and yield, fixed base index were taken into consideration.
