STUDENTS’ PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS USING SIMPLE K-MEANS

Abstract

Health affects the studies of students directly. If they are sick, they will lack concentration in studies and if they are not, it will never affect their studies. Clustering means a collection of data objects that are similar to one another with in the equal cluster and are dissimilar to the objects in other clusters .In k-means, individual cluster is represented by its mid-point or mean which is also termed as the centroid and is calculated as mean value of the data within that cluster. Here, simple k means of clustering is used to identify the effect of sickness in studies of the students.
