Online redressal of learner’s grievances in ODL: IGNOU Experience

Abstract

Student support services are the most vital component in open and distance learning (ODL). It plays an important role in leaning outcome of the learners. In the present paper author has made an attempt to analyze the issues pertaining to online grievances received from the learners and the mechanism of grievance redressal. The present study will help distance educators to know and focus on the major issues of learners in open and distance learning and to develop an action plan to handle learners grievances in an effective way.
