Role of Government Schemes for Upliftment of Tribal Community in India

Abstract

The tribal communityform a vital part of Indian population. Tribal community appropriately indexed in the Indian Constitution. Constitution of India reconciliation tribal community with unique rights, but were suffering from extreme social, educational and economic backwardness.After independence not only Government of India but also various organisations has been betrothed in their social, economic and educational development. The main thrust of this research is to seek the concise description of numerous schemes and programmes launched by Indian government since independence, as well as their assistance for the upliftment of tribal population in India.
