Comparison of the ac electrical properties of PVA-CdSe and PVA-ZnSe nanocomposite films
In this report we have compared the electrical transport properties of polyvinyl alcohol-cadmium selenide, polyvinyl alcohol-zinc selenide nanocomposite films. The experimental results are summarized and conclusions that can be drawn from the study is discussed herein. The investigated nanostructures and the polymer nanocomposites have been prepared by simple wet chemical synthesis routes. The synthesized materials were then subjected to intensive electrical study to reveal the electrical transport mechanism over a temperature range of and in the frequency range. The experimental results were analyzed with the theoretical models available in literature and have been considered for this comparative study.
